LOOKFest Soundscape markers

Welcome to LOOKFest! We've created a set of Soundscape markers around the site to help you navigate independently, and even guide you towards some of the clues in the scavenger hunt.

These markers will work in either the VoiceVista or Soundscape Community app on an iPhone. If you don't already have one of these downloaded, we recommend searching for and downloading VoiceVista from the App Store.

To save the markers, follow the instructions below:
  1. Select the "Download markers" link below.

  2. Select "Download" when asked if you'd like to download a file.
  3. Find the "Page menu" option and select it. For sighted users this is a menu button to the left of the address bar. For VoiceOver users, find the top of the page and swipe left or right until you hear "Page menu".
  4. Once in the Page menu, find the "Downloads" option and select it.
  5. You should now be in a list of recently downloaded files. The top file should be a file named "LOOKFest". Select this file to open another window.
  6. In this window select "Share".
  7. In the Share menu that opens, select either "VoiceVista" or "Soundscape" depending on which of these apps you have installed. If it doesn't appear you may need to click the "More" button to reveal more apps.
  8. The app will open with a message letting you know you have received a route. Simply select "Save route" to save the markers.

We appreciate that this may seem like quite a lot of steps , particularly if this marker sharing system is not something you're familiar with. But don't worry it's not as bad as it looks. If you need any help, please don't hesitate to find me (Theo) for some tech support.
